Fiz ShapurAfter pursuing a classical training Fiz has worked in many different fields of the music and theatre industry as a Musical Director in London for over twenty years, both in theatre, television and on the stage.

His theatre experience covers a wide range of musicals that include Working, 110 in The Shade, Company, Sweet Charity, Merrily We Roll Along, Little Shop of Horrors, Les Miserables, How Lucky Can You Get, King, Guys and Dolls, Cats, Aspects Of Love, Five Guys Named Moe and The Best of Times. As a Musical Supervisor for The Really Useful Group, Fiz is closely involved with the recreation of Cats around the world, from productions in Europe to South Africa, and most recently, Korea and China.

On the “other” side of the Industry, as a Music Director / Pianist, Fiz has worked with many Jazz / Cabaret, and “Pop” artistes both in the UK and Europe, and across the USA ranging from; Adelaide Hall and Elizabeth Welch, to Helen Reddy, The Three Degrees, The Stylistics, Shalamar, Candi Staton, The Supremes, Rose Royce, Sister Sledge, Leo Sayer, The Trammps, The Real Thing, Odyssey, Travares, Demis Roussos and Jocelyn Brown. Most recently Fiz has been Musical Director for comedian Brian Conley. Fiz also composes and arranges for television, and appeared as Musical Director for the BBC series Bob Monkhouse on the Spot and more recently on Let Me Entertain You for BBC2.
